To promote the development of STEM education, Inspire Education Association collaborated with the EdUHK Robotics Team from The Education University of Hong Kong in January to co-organize the “Drone Technology Experience Workshop,” guiding students on an exploratory journey into flight technology.
The event was held at the S.R.B.C.E.P.S.A. Lu Kwong Fai Memorial School. Centered on interdisciplinary practical learning, it integrated science, technology, engineering, and mathematical logic. Through structured experiential sessions, students began by understanding flight principles and progressively mastered the structural design and real-time control techniques of drone systems. The workshop emphasized “learning through hands-on thinking” – students not only operated drones firsthand but also learned to analyze problems, plan pathways, and deepen their understanding of smart technology applications through team discussions and task challenges.
We observed that students exhibited a high degree of curiosity and engagement throughout the process. From their initial attempts at flight to actively exploring the engineering principles behind it, this workshop embodied the STEM education spirit of “learning by doing and thinking through practice.” The activity not only strengthened students’ foundational understanding of technology and engineering but also ignited their motivation and confidence in learning about innovative technologies.
From January 31 to February 1, 2026, Inspire Education Association planned and organized a two-day “Shenzhen Study Tour” for students of The Education University of Hong Kong. The study tour aimed to provide Hong Kong students with firsthand experience in Shenzhen, a core city of the Greater Bay Area, allowing them to gain deeper insights into regional development, technological innovation, and cultural integration through site visits, academic exchanges, and cultural immersion.
On the first day, the tour departed from Shenzhen Bay Port and arrived at Shenzhen University as its first stop. Students engaged in academic discussions with professors from Shenzhen University and enjoyed lunch on campus, experiencing the learning environment and campus culture of a mainland university firsthand. Subsequently, they visited the historically rich Nantou Ancient City, strolling through its cultural district that blends Lingnan heritage with modern creativity, reflecting on how Shenzhen preserves and revitalizes historical memory amidst rapid urbanization. In the evening, participants had free time for activities and dinner at Haiya Mega Mall before checking into a local hotel.
The second day focused on sustainable development and urban innovation. Students toured the Nanshan Energy Ecological Park to learn about Shenzhen’s advanced technologies and practical approaches in waste treatment, energy conversion, and ecological conservation. Later, they enjoyed lunch and free exploration at K11 ECOAST, a venue integrating artistic and eco-friendly concepts, experiencing Shenzhen’s creative vitality as a City of Design. The tour concluded with the group returning to Hong Kong via Shenzhen Bay Port.
The “ConChord Concert Singers Charity Concert 2026,” organized by the Inspire Education Association, was successfully held on the evening of January 24, 2026, at the Methodist International Church in Wan Chai. The concert was filled to capacity, creating a warm and vibrant atmosphere.
Featuring the ConChord Concert Singers, the programme encompassed a range of sacred classical pieces, local compositions, and choral classics. The concert also included a special collaborative performance with youths from The Neighbourhood Advice-Action Council, TOUCH Centre, reflecting the spirit of musical inclusion and community partnership.
As the organizing body, the Inspire Education Association is committed to integrating education and the arts to promote community care and youth development. All proceeds from this concert will be directed toward the Association’s free vocal training programmes and related music service projects for young people, offering more opportunities for growth and expression through music.

The “Sailing Experience Day,” jointly organized by the Inspire Education Association and Victoria Sailing Academic Institution, was successfully held on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at the Kwun Tong Pier. This event aimed to take participants out of the classroom and allow them to personally experience the unique charm of Victoria Harbour’s sea breeze and the sport of sailing.
With perfect weather on the day of the event, participants, under the guidance of professional coaches, began with a shore briefing and safety instructions before boarding the sailboats for a memorable voyage through Victoria Harbour. During the journey, attendees not only had the chance to take turns at the helm and steer the boat but also personally pulled the lines, learning to work with the wind and experiencing the spirit of teamwork. The voyage was filled with continuous laughter, and while enjoying the views of Victoria Harbour, everyone gained a deeper understanding of sailing.
The event concluded with a sharing session and light refreshments provided back on shore. Hearing the participants excitedly exchange their experiences confirmed the meaningful success of the event. We sincerely thank all participants for their enthusiasm and the professional coaching team from Victoria Sailing Academic Institution for ensuring the activity was safe and smoothly conducted.
